American Auto Mags' Encore Meet
May 19th at the Cheshire Lounge
What a fabulous night.
A great display of motors; classics and late models and plenty in-between.
Several that we'd not seen before and plenty of 'regulars'.
You'll notice I've photographed a couple of girls sat at one of the tables
outside the front of the pub; they'd come just for a quiet drink and
had no knowledge of the Meet. Totally taken aback, they were absolutely
loving the cars and the atmosphere.
Weatherwise, it was a warm, mild night and I think a lot of folk
were just pleased to get out of the house and enjoy a couple of hours
relaxing and chatting.
Oh yes, the pub set up a little barbeque selling burgers
just outside the front door. They definitely did well !
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
We really do get a great selection of makes and models,
old and new and together with the bikes,
it makes for a very pleasant evening !
As you'll see when you look through the photos,
there were four or five up for sale and on the face of it,
a bargain or two to be had.
